11 Dollar Bill
I woke up from a dream this morning and all I could recall is a single image of what I knew to be an eleven dollar bill. It was green as American money and it resembled a ten dollar bill but it was not. I know it was distinctly eleven. And the symbols in the middle of the paper, the illustrations perhaps, are unusual and fuzzy in my memory. I feel like they were somehow moving because I can’t get a grasp on what the images were exactly.
I woke up hearing the word eleven spoken to me.
So I’ve been wrestling with what is significant about eleven all day. I did a tarot reading this morning and drew a center card with eleven hidden flowers faded into the background of the card--the king of swords. See my post going deeper into that specific reading for more information here.
I started to do some research about the number eleven. I didn’t notice how often eleven was or wasn’t prevalent in my life until I had this dream. I still need to finish watching the third season of Stranger things staring a telekinetic character named Eleven but I highly doubt that is related.
During my search I discovered what are known as Angel Numbers. Master Number 11 is associated with spiritual illumination and the inner teacher. This is somewhat fitting considering tomorrow I start teaching at the arts high school again and my focus has been on this for so long I am feeling the positive energy carrying me. Angel Numbers are named for the belief that they are presented to people by their guardian angel. I’ve never deeply researched guardian angels but I’ve always casually spoken about my mother’s spirit and how I feel her watching over me in rough times. I used to pray to her when I was questioning the higher power and how it could have taken her away from me.
If you’re curious about Angel Number 11 or just want to judge what I read in my spare time, I will link the article (if you can call it that) down below.
Another post talks about the number 11 representing the spiritual messenger. I recently submitted a proposal for a new class at a new school and it could be a turning point in my career as a teaching artist. I wonder if I am being spoken to about this or if I am being warned somehow about my finances.
Eleven was once considered a symbol of internal conflict and rebellion, representing disorder. In the Mayan Calendar the current time cycle ended on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 am GMT. Although I am mayan, I don’t think my dream has much to do with the calendar. Unless I look at it from the perspective of death and rebirth--new beginnings.
I couldn’t find much on dream interpretation sites for money that doesn’t exist in the real world. I know for sure that it was money, although eleven dollar bills are fictional. Money might represent achieving goals and reflect my confidence. I hope it means I am internally feeling and understanding my self worth is great. How do you interpret dreams?
